How to Style Your Winter Whites

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF WINTER!

OK TBH it's currently 80 degrees here in South Florida, and yes I was sweating my booty off in this outfit... does it look like Winter here? No. (hello palm trees and sunshine) Does it feel like Winter here? No. (am I in a sauna?) But I took one for the team and put a true "winter" outfit together knowing a lot of you are in a real life snow globe up North. 

I've never been one to follow the rules of fashion... the "No white after labor day!" is a cute suggestion, but white will always be a staple color in my wardrobe year round.

... and yes it should be in yours too! You just have to know how to style the right pieces in... if you're wondering how, don't worry I'm here for you ;)

For example, these white cropped jeans from 7 For All Mankind are the most versatile pants to play around with during all seasons. If you don't know about 7 for all mankind, these have been my go-to jeans for YEARS. You need to put a pair on to truly understand my love for them, (these are another pair I live in) but they fit like a dream are are so flattering on the booty! 

The pair I'm wearing here is called the "Kimmie Crop". They are clean white jeans in a cropped, skinny silhouette featuring a contour waist and soft, resilient stretch-twill denim that retains its shape. When jeans have a stretch to them, I like to size DOWN one so they are super form-fitting. (I'm typically a 26 but I wear a 25 in the Kimmie Crop). *currently on sale for 40% off!*

Want to dress these jeans up? Pair with a fun and festive TALL boot like these red ones from Steve Madden. Thanks to the crop of the jeans, they hit at the absolute perfect length without a need to tuck in. 

I know these boots are pretty loud, but hey it's the holidays! So I wanted to keep it simple up top with a white turtleneck tucked in. I couldn't help myself with this drool-worth navy crop jacket from Free People. Kinda military'ish vibes, no? Obsessed. 

Want to dress these jeans down? Pair with short booties or sneakers with a leather jacket! You also can't go wrong with this velvety navy bomber jacket from 7 For All Mankind. 

Don't play by the fashion rules... the versatility of white makes it acceptable year-round. You just have to get a little creative :)
